Uma Karuna Thurman was an American actress best famous for her performance as Mia Wallace, a dark comical character in Pulp Fiction. The movie's role made Thurman one of Hollywood's most renowned stars. She's dedicated to her profession and does not care about the glamorous appearance. Her deglamorized role on the Kill Bill movie series won her awards and appreciation. Born into a family that had a unique life style, she received the title Hindu and was given an Buddhist training.
