Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow was born to Christian parents in Cologne, Germany, and had three children. She was 17 when her parents separated. Further financial troubles came in when their business went bankrupt. She was further hampered because of her anorexic and bulimic. Gossow has been very honest regarding her decision to quit the band ARCH Enemy, as their lead singer. She stated, "There's a place and the right time for all things." In 1991, I began my journey. The joy I felt in it began to fade. In lieu of denying it I quit, I decided to stop. The group was initially led by Johan Liiva who was replaced by German singer Angela Gossow in 2000. The track You're the Voice was recorded during the year 1986, by Australian musician John Farnham.
