She ranks second amongst all female skiers and men in terms of super scores. Hers is among the most skilled skiers in history and is the most loved skier in America. United States. She is an athlete who has made an impact in American culture. She's one of just six females in the history of sports to win all five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. The American has won the 82 World Cup titles in all. World-class athlete and one of America's most popular ski racers has taken a decision to step down following the World Championships which take place in Sweden. The onset of a series of health issues caused the Four-time World Cup Overall Champion to decide that she would retire. She announced her retirement on social media.
