Cassie Scerbo is an American actress, dancer and singer who first came under the spotlight when she was chosen for the all-girl pop-band 'Slumber Party Girls which hosted the popular children's show Dance Revolution on CBS in the late 2000s. Her performance was later celebrated as she appeared in Bring It On : In It to win It as well as ABC Family's series Make It or Break It. But she is most famous for her character Nova Clarke from four of the six movies in the Sharknado popular culture phenomenon. Soon she was able to hit local hits and also released singles such as 'Franchesckaar'. and Emelline/Art Bitch. Asylum Records signed her in 2010. Alex Metric sang the vocals on the track End of the World released in 2011. The album that she released as her debut studio album True Romance was released in April 2013. The album received positive review. It sold 1,241 copies in its first week and was ranked 85th at the top of the U.K. albums chart. Charli immediately began work on her new album. She was soon featured in Australian singer Iggy Azalea's hit song Fancy. It reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States. Her debut album, Sucker, was released in 2014 and became an international hit. The album reached the top 28 on the Billboard 200. The album also got favorable reviews from reviewers. Break the Rules the album's title track, which is a single from the album, was an international hit. In July of 2015, she declared that her next studio album was currently in making.
