Then she returned to Romania with a hero's welcome. Comaneci won two more gold medals during the 1980 Olympics as well as won two other silvers. Her total Olympic medal count now stands at nine. Comaneci's Olympic total was increased to 9 medals when she, in the year 1980, was awarded two more gold and two silver at the Olympic Games. Comaneci was wed to American Olympic Champion Bart Conner in April of 1996. They have one son, Dylan Paul. Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy and other gymnastics business are owned through the connoisseurs. Comaneci has also been involved with a range of charitable organizations serving on the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association as well as the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation Board of Directors. After a decade, Comaneci continues to be a supporter of dozens more charities within her native Romania. These include the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.

Personal highlights for Niykee include getting selected to be part of Snoop at the YouTube Brandcast, in May 2013, as well as writing songs, despite the turbulence of the past few years.
